EVOLVE·GROW·LEAD
WHO WE ARE

Evolving organizations. Enabling progress.

Irtiqa is the Arabic and Urdu word for “evolution”, an apt name for the practice set up by Aqueela Mumtaz and Inam ur Rahman. The firm formalizes years of corporate leadership, advisory work, and cross-sector engagement into a structured practice with a singular focus: helping organizations and their people evolve.

Each organization has moments where the path forward demands more than incremental thinking: when growth ambitions stretch existing capabilities, when structures need to evolve to support scale, or when leadership transition becomes a strategic priority. These are not routine decisions. They require clarity, judgment, and the ability to connect strategy with execution.

Irtiqa partners with leadership teams to provide focused, high-trust advisory at these inflection points. Our role is to bring perspective, challenge thinking where needed, and help decision-makers move forward with confidence and alignment.

OUR LENS

Three interconnected lenses for strategic challenges

We view most strategic challenges through three lenses, connected and inseparable from one another.

Growth

Clarifying strategy, evaluating opportunities, aligning leadership capability, and ensuring capital is deployed effectively.

Structure & Governance

Designing decision-making frameworks, leadership roles, and institutional structures that support scale, accountability, and long-term performance.

Succession

Preparing organizations for leadership continuity, whether across generations, management layers, or evolving business needs.

FAMILY BUSINESS ADVISORY

The business of the family business

Family enterprises are built on strong entrepreneurial foundations. But as they grow, they reach inflection points that founders can't navigate alone: generational succession, scaling complexity, and the need for governance that can outlast any one individual. These are not operational problems. They demand clarity of purpose, alignment among leadership, and structures built to sustain the business beyond its founding generation.

Our work centers on what we call the business of the family business — bringing structure to strategy, discipline to decision-making, and coherence to leadership, so the enterprise itself becomes resilient, aligned, and future-ready. This is:

  • Enabling scalable growth through systems and process
  • Strengthening governance frameworks and accountability
  • Supporting succession and leadership transitions
  • Coaching next-generation leaders as they step into larger roles

Built on discretion. This work happens inside the owner's room — in conversations about capital, control, and family that rarely happen anywhere else. We treat that access as a responsibility, not a credential. Every engagement is built on confidentiality and long-term trust, not visibility.
